While container volumes from all ports of origin around the world were peaking last week, container volumes from Chinese ports specifically actually peaked this week. By the next morning, though, the Canada Industrial Relations Board ordered the union to cease its work stoppage, and re-issue a 72-hour strike notice.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.supplychaindive.com\/news\/ILWU-Canada-revokes-July-22-strike-notice\/688472\/\" title=\"Read More Here Supply Chain Dive\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Read More Here Supply Chain Dive<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Wheat prices continue to rise amidst threats to Ukraine bound ships<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Since July 18,<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/world-europe-66253143\" id=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">wheat prices<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>have increased for three straight days after Russia threatened to treat ships destined for Ukrainian ports as military targets.<\/p>\n<p>Russia has been bombarding Ukrainian grain facilities in<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/europe\/russia-launches-air-attacks-ukraines-south-east-ukraines-air-force-2023-07-17\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Odesa<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>and other cities for the last three nights.
